How we use it
We use information to process purchases, provide and restore access, operate and moderate the community, respond to support, prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Anonymous posts
“Anonymous” means other community members will not see your name or handle on that post. The service still uses a private membership identifier so reactions, reports, abuse prevention, and moderation can work. Do not post information you would be unsafe or uncomfortable having connected back to you.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate the product, including Stripe for payments and hosting/database providers for the website and community. They process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. Stripe receives payment information directly; Dare to Overshare does not store complete card numbers.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide access, maintain records, resolve disputes, moderate the community, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can promise perfect security. One-time login codes and legacy access codes are stored in hashed form.
Your choices and rights
You may post anonymously, avoid providing a handle, or choose not to post. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing daretoovershare@gmail.com. Applicable law may provide additional rights. We may need to verify your request and may retain information when legally permitted or required.
Children
The members-only community is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect community information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date above shows the latest revision.
